I miss my dead grandfather. I just found some letters from him, and reading them broke my heart.
I wonder if someone has to be dead before I can love them.
I wonder if I have to be dead for someone to love me.

I was going to write "you are loved," but that sounded too much like some weird television show. But you are, even by some of your intolerable kin. And don't let ANYONE tell you to be happy.
Hi Lina,
I hope you can share some of the letters someday. He wrote few personal letters to his children, and his verbal communication was extremely minimal. I have been concerned about the effect of his death scene might have had on you and Max. Of course I appreciated your being there.
Take care, Rachel
I've learned from personal experiences, that "death" is a taboo topic in our society ... we can talk everything about sex in a very adult perspective but if you try to talk about death, then people start to feel very unconfortable and avoid the topic ...
And death is just another part of the life, in fact we all are dying right now, since no one is gonna live forever ... it's just a matter of time if you look from some point of view
So i think, the right way of handle this is with happiness instead of sadness. Happiness from what you have had ...
Mmmm maybe if you don't eat pig's ears (eewww ...) i could love you ... but i'm not sure
